Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), control narratives, specifications, network drawings, panel drawings, and instrument selection
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design
  • Contribute to the development and growth of people (e.g., mentoring junior engineers) both domestically and globally
  • Develop control system software in Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces, and perform facility startups and commissioning activities
  • Review construction submittals, conduct site evaluations, make recommendations for control system upgrades, and communicate effectively with clients and management, enhancing your professional network and experience as you travel

Requirements

  • I&C Systems Integration design experience
  • Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development
  • I/O list development
  • Instrumentation selection
  • Control panel layout and wiring
  • Detailed loop wiring diagrams
  • PLC equipment list development
  • Ability to mentor, train, and delegate work to others domestically and abroad
  • Ability to work outside normal work hours at times to coordinate with global team members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' of experience
  • Water infrastructure Instrumentation & Controls Systems design experience
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • Experience with PLCs and HMI programming software
  • Experience with MCC and VFD control requirements
  • Proficiency in Instrumentation and Controls
  • Familiarity with onsite startup operations

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $105,000.00 to $150,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
