Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), control narratives, specifications, network drawings, panel drawings, and instrument selection
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design
- Contribute to the development and growth of people (e.g., mentoring junior engineers) both domestically and globally
- Develop control system software in Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces, and perform facility startups and commissioning activities
- Review construction submittals, conduct site evaluations, make recommendations for control system upgrades, and communicate effectively with clients and management, enhancing your professional network and experience as you travel
Requirements
- I&C Systems Integration design experience
- Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development
- I/O list development
- Instrumentation selection
- Control panel layout and wiring
- Detailed loop wiring diagrams
- PLC equipment list development
- Ability to mentor, train, and delegate work to others domestically and abroad
- Ability to work outside normal work hours at times to coordinate with global team members
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- 10+ years' of experience
- Water infrastructure Instrumentation & Controls Systems design experience
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Experience with PLCs and HMI programming software
- Experience with MCC and VFD control requirements
- Proficiency in Instrumentation and Controls
- Familiarity with onsite startup operations

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $105,000.00 to $150,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
