About the role

Fives DyAG Corp. is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join their team based in Toledo, OH. The primary responsibilities include preparing drawing packages and technical specifications for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project manager directions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare drawing packages and technical specifications for assigned projects.
  • Ensure all work aligns with client requirements and project manager directions.
  • Complete assignments with minimal oversight.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to team members on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Perform engineering calculations, reviews, and analyses as required.
  • Travel as needed to support project execution and provide on-site construction assistance.
  • Develop comprehensive construction scopes of work.
  • Present design packages to the Project Manager and participate in client review meetings at key project milestones.
  • Serve as Project Manager as needed for single-discipline instrumentation and controls projects, overseeing scope, budget, and schedule.

Requirements

  • Professional licensure or active progress toward certification (EIT, PE, etc.) preferred.
  • 3+ years of instrumentation and controls experience in an industrial environment.
  • Prior experience with chemical manufacturing, refinery, oil/gas, or related industries is helpful.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and well-developed technical abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Skills
