INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN JOURNEYMAN
About the role
The Instrument Technician-Journeyman position is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting building management systems (BMS) and HVAC plants. This role requires proficiency in line programming in Win Control, creating graphics for a functioning BMS system, understanding HVAC plant equipment design and functions, and familiarity with computers, fiber, and web-based BMS systems. Experience with KMC controls is preferred.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School/GED
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible work experience in BMS controls
- Up to two (2) years of verifiable formal training in the trade (vocational, military, or indentured apprentice school) may substitute for a like amount of the experience requirement
Qualifications
Preference will be given to individuals who can read and write line programming in Win Control and create graphics for a functioning BMS system, understand HVAC plant equipment design and functions, have an understanding of computers, fiber, and web-based BMS systems, and have experience with KMC controls.
