Instrument Technician

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, services, tests, calibrates and repairs all instrumentation and measuring equipment, including telemetering and supervisory controls at all stations and other locations as assigned.
• Reads and works from schematics, wiring diagrams, electrical blueprints and drawings.
• Maintains skills and knowledge through a company-assisted training program.
• Keeps records of equipment maintained and repaired.
• Uses, adjusts, and repairs electronic testing equipment.
• Performs other similar or less skilled work as assigned.
• Assists employees of a higher classification as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Must have valid State Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Additional Information

Pay Rate: $42.81 per hour.
