Overview
The instrument technician will be responsible for detailed knowledge of the inter-departmental needs. They will coordinate/communicate daily instrument needs with mission partners and team leaders. Must be competent in proper cleaning, sterilizing and inspecting of instrumentation. Must be proficient and responsible for all aspects of the Immediate Use Sterilization process, as well and handling Biologic Indicator testing as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 2 years sterile processing experience OR Certification in sterile processing at the technician level or higher from an accredited organization
- Other Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Benefits & Compensation
Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position. The expected pay range for this position is $18.80 - $22.12/hour.
