Pay
Expected pay for this position is $18.80 - $22.12/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.

This is an hourly position.
About the role
The Instrument Technician-Surgery will be responsible for detailed knowledge of the inter-departmental needs between OR, Case Carts, and the Sterile Processing Department. They will coordinate and communicate daily instrument needs with OR mission partners and team leaders. Must be competent in proper cleaning, sterilizing, and inspecting of instrumentation. Must be proficient and responsible for all aspects of the Immediate Use Sterilization process, as well as handling Biologic Indicator testing as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent prioritization and organization skills.
- Basic knowledge of reading computer printouts and working from task lists.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Certification in sterile processing at the technician level or higher from an accredited organization.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a Sterile Processing Department.
