Key Responsibilities
- Lead minor capital projects through all phases, from initial concept and justification to final startup and closeout.
- Develop engineering deliverables, including instrument data sheets, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Prepare Front-End Loading (FEL) studies and secure project funding.
- Specify and select instrumentation equipment (e.g., control valves, transmitters, sensors) and manage relationships with external vendors.
- Oversee site construction activities, coordinate with maintenance and operations for system tie-ins, and lead loop checking and commissioning.
- Ensure all project work adheres to Management of Change (MOC) processes and meets industry standards.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with field instruments (pressure, flow, level).
- Experience with control valves and their integration with DCS/PLC systems.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Valid TWIC Card.
- 5-10+ years of experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry, with a proven track record in project engineering.
