Starting pay of $35.52/hr with opportunity to advance to $38.14 with our pay for skill system and $0.85 shift differential.

Responsibilities

  • Safe operation, electrical maintenance, and troubleshooting of a system that produces distinctive, high-quality ingredients and solutions to the food, beverage, and other industries.
  • Work with electrical construction materials, equipment components, and devices such as conductors, grounding systems, conduit systems, lighting, control devices, circuit breakers, switch gear, switches, motors, generators, transformers, and timing devices.
  • Work with instrument construction materials such as wire, pneumatic, electronic, and hydraulic components and metal, plastic, and glass materials used in connection with instrument work.
  • Install tubing in conjunction with instrument work.
  • Use hand and power tools common to electrical and Instrumentation work, such as electric drills, soldering and brazing equipment, a drill press, threading equipment, power saws, and bending equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspection on alarms, alarm panels, electrical interlocks, and other electrical safety devices.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and orderly.
  • Work with and assist other skilled tradesmen.
  • Follows prescribed procedures for checking and testing electrical and instrument loops before production release.
  • Work from drawings, repair, and operating instruction manuals, and written and oral instructions.
  • Has working knowledge of NFPA70E.
  • Works under close supervision.
  • Assists PCS engineer in maintaining electrical schematics, loop diagrams, calibration records, and other instrumentation and electrical documentation.

Qualifications

Pay

$35.52/hr with opportunity to advance to $38.14 with our pay for skill system and $0.85 shift differential.

Schedule

This is a 365/24/7 Operating Plant – requiring weekends and holidays. Day Shift - Monday thru Fri 7am-4:30pmB Shift: 2pm - 10pm works 7 days on 2 days off, 7 days on 1 day off, 7 days on 4 days off (repeating every 28 days)

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting of up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance.
  • Use of hand tools above shoulders, under ergonomically stressful conditions, and under application of heavy force by employee.
  • Work in elevated positions with hand tools and fall restraint equipment.
  • Able to wear personnel protective equipment (PPE).
