About the role

We are seeking an Entry Level Instrumentation and Controls CAD Technician to join our team in Corvallis, Oregon. As a vital member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects that focus on water and wastewater design. Working alongside a team of water technicians and engineers, you’ll be responsible for creating drawings and simulations using software tools and resources supporting our clients’ overall project goals. You’ll be part of diverse, multidisciplinary teams working cohesively to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create drawings and simulations using software tools to support water and wastewater design projects.
  • Collaborate with water technicians and engineers to achieve client project goals.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver quality work products and client service.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Design, Technical Drafting, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of AUTOCAD, Microstation, or OPPID.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $44,400.00 to $89,300.00, paid hourly based on hours worked. Individual pay within this range is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

We offer a hybrid working policy, allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
