About the role
Conduct practical training in SMAW, GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), FCAW, and SAW processes. Demonstrate proper welding techniques in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Train trainees on welding safety, PPE requirements, equipment handling, and workshop discipline.
Responsibilities
- Prepare practical training plans, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
- Evaluate trainees' practical competency and provide technical guidance for skill improvement.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of welding machines, accessories, and consumables.
- Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
- Assist in welder qualification tests and practical assessments.
- Prepare practical evaluation reports and trainee progress records.
Requirements
- Experience: 10 to 15 years
- Education: Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History
- Skills: welding equipment maintenance, welding inspection, welding safety, SMAW, weld inspection, welding, MIG welding, technical training, arc welding
