About the role
Continuing Education and Workforce Development at Cecil College is currently looking for a part-time instructor to teach an introductory course in solar panel installation.
Responsibilities
- Documentation of students’ attendance and academic progress by giving and grading examinations and accountability standards.
- Database proficiency and familiarity with timely data entry.
- Interpretation of NABCEP curriculum and ability to effectively communicate learning objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of an advanced training program or professional certification in solar technologies
- Knowledge of alternative and renewable energy, tools, skills and ability to communicate in a classroom setting.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Professional attitude and a desire to help students succeed.
