About the role
The Creighton University College of Nursing seeks a 12-month, full-time non-tenure track faculty member for its on-site BSN program in Omaha, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom instruction in the BSN program
- Supervise students in clinical and simulation/lab experiences in the faculty’s area of clinical expertise
- Flexibility to supervise students in community-based settings is expected
- Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
- Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship commensurate with the College’s standards of performance for rank and university expectations
Requirements
- At least a master’s degree in nursing
- 2 years of clinical nursing experience in psychiatric-mental health nursing
- An earned doctorate or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred
- A current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure
