Job responsibilities

  • Developing and facilitating educational experiences for PHPR 620
  • Student assessment for PHPR 620 via exams, quizzes, assignments, or other appropriate measures
  • Providing office hours for students in PHPR 620, either in-person or online

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience and training in healthcare ethics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Description

  • Teaching in PHPR 620
  • Developing course materials
  • Developing and managing syllabi
  • Creating lectures and assignments
  • Grading student work
  • Advising students
  • Holding office hours

Required Qualifications

  • Terminal degree in Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited school or for pre-2000 graduates, a BS in Pharmacy degree is considered terminal)
  • Master’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience in a healthcare related field
  • Record of research, scholarship or achievement in a healthcare related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching healthcare ethics
  • Experience with culturally competent care
