Position Information

Classroom Instructor

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Industrial or Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related area.
  • SACA Certified, I4.0 Associate Certification or pending certification
  • Two (2) years of relevant industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Industrial or Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related area.
  • Two (2) years teaching experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee may occasionally lift up to 10 lbs., seldom 25 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work Environment: The employee must be able to correctly follow all safety rules and regulations, operate appropriate laboratory equipment and tolerate the presence of laboratory chemicals.
