About This Opportunity
The Speech Pathology and Audiology Department at Ball State University seeks an adjunct faculty team member to teach a course in our curricula. The successful candidate will work alongside our faculty to share discipline-specific knowledge and clinical expertise with the next generation of speech-language pathologists and audiologists.
Responsibilities
- Instruct an undergraduate or graduate course in the Speech Pathology & Audiology curricula.
- Develop and/or teach based upon a course syllabus provided by the department via online or in-person delivery, as specified for the course.
- Engage routinely with students, provide timely performance feedback, and submit grades according to University deadlines.
Adjunct faculty reports to the Chair of the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or audiology from an accredited institution.
- At least two years of experience working in a professional environment serving individuals with communication disorders.
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of classroom or online teaching experience.
- An established record of clinical teaching and supervision.
Pay
$3,000–3,500
