The department of Anthropology and Sociology invites candidates to apply for Instructor of Sociology. This position will teach a variety of undergraduate courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of undergraduate courses, such as principles of sociology, family, gender and society, social interaction, globalization, and social problems both on campus or online during the spring and fall semesters.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Sociology from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching sociology at the postsecondary level.
• Experience teaching online classes.
• Area of specialization (as evidenced by coursework or teaching experience) congruent with departmental course needs.
• Commitment to high quality teaching is essential.

Qualifications

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
