About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Instructor position in the Academic Support Staff. This position is for a two-year fellowship that provides intensive clinical experiences both domestically and internationally, as well as academic support for a scholarly project and a master’s degree. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to two (2) years).
Responsibilities
- Conducting basic, translational and/or clinical research in women's global health.
- Receiving additional training in clinical and/or basic science research related to this field.
- Participating in clinical responsibilities as a member of the Academic Specialists in Penn Ob/Gyn Associates.
Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board certified or board eligible in Ob/Gyn.
