About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Instructor position in the Academic Support Staff. This is a two-year fellowship that provides intensive clinical experiences both domestically and internationally, academic support for a scholarly project, and a master’s degree. This appointment will be initially for one year and may be renewed for a second year based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to two years total).
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Training in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board certified or board eligible in Ob/Gyn
Responsibilities
- Conduct basic, translational, and/or clinical research in women’s global health
- Receive additional training in clinical and/or basic science research related to the field
- Participate in clinical responsibilities as a member of the Academic Specialists in Penn Ob/Gyn Associates
