Responsibilities
- Neuroendovascular and microsurgical treatment of cerebrovascular disorders including aneurysms, AVMs, ischemic disorders of the brain and spine, and hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes at Penn Medicine and affiliated hospital sites.
- Collaborations on clinical research in cerebrovascular and neurovascular technology.
- Education of medical students and residents, and fellows within the neuroendovascular fellowship.
- Growth in expertise in the management of complex hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke cases and other cerebrovascular disorders with faculty supervision and mentorship.
- Development of skills in building a clinical practice and a referral network.
Requirements
- An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- Completion of fellowships in endovascular neurosurgery and cerebrovascular microsurgery.
Qualifications
Expertise is required in the specific area of neuroendovascular and cerebrovascular surgery.
