About the role
Responsible for overseeing facilities maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage facilities maintenance staff
- Ensure compliance with building code regulations
- Administer contracts and budgets related to facilities maintenance
- Communicate effectively through oral and written means
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel or equivalent software
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Master Plumber's license, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor's License A, and/or EPA Certification (Universal Level) may be required
Requirements
Minimum of six years experience in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, or electrical, with at least two years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of building code regulations, contract, and budget administration is required.
Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel or equivalent software is necessary.
A valid driver's license, good driving record, and availability to work some evenings and weekends are required.
Some positions may require additional certifications such as a Master Plumber's license, an Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor's License A, and/or EPA Certification (Universal Level).
Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Skills
Strong leadership and supervisory skills are required.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.
