Instructor II – Preschool Programs

About the role

We're looking for a caring, energetic, and experienced individual to join our Preschool Programs team. Instructor II staff provide leadership while creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for young children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities
• Supervise participants and staff
• Support daily program operations
• Communicate with families
• Maintain attendance and program records
• Prepare program spaces
• Help ensure each child has a fun, positive, and enriching experience

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with preschool-aged children or in an early childhood, recreation, or related setting
• Experience supervising staff or volunteers preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Has or will obtain CPR/FA certification

Pay

This position is Grade 2 of the Town’s Part-Time Pay Plan with an hourly range of $22.00 to $23.35 based upon qualifications and experience.
