About the role

This teaching position includes designing and facilitating learning environments in applied science degree programs. The programs award an Associate in Applied Science degree in Engineering Technologies with a specialization in Electrical Electronics and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Instrumentation Technology. The focus of this instructional position will be in the operation, design, installation, repair, and maintenance of systems typically found in manufacturing, processing, and utility industries. The main focus of this instructional position will be in the areas of automated measurement and control of pressure, temperature, flow, and level.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm with occasional evenings and weekends. May require availability for evening courses.

Pay

$50,000 – $55,000

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university; master’s degree strongly preferred. Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree requirement with appropriate approval.
• Five years documented successful work experience in related industry.
• Teaching experience in Higher Education preferred.
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
