Responsibilities

Provide general anatomic pathology and/or clinical pathology services for the medical center with a specialty in gastrointestinal pathology.

Participate in the education of pathology residents, fellows, medical technologists, medical staff and visiting students.

Pursue research/scholarly activity and services as appropriate for a faculty member.

Provide pathology-related lecture series to pathology residents as appropriate.

Research and scholarly activity with pathology residents and interdepartmental physicians to include quality improvement projects.

Provide supervision to pathology residents and medical students.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O.
• American Board of Pathology, AP/CP board certification.
• Tennessee State of Medical Licensure or eligibility.
