Job Overview
The UC College of Medicine seeks a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds physician to join the Sawyer Pardo Fellowship for LGBTQ+ Health starting in July 2027. This fellowship aims to train physicians to be leaders in health care for LGBTQ+ and gender expansive individuals.
Essential Functions
- Provide care to an LGBTQ+ focused primary care patient panel at the UC Health Primary Care Wyoming/Hartwell office.
- Provide LGBTQ+ focused care in the Gender and Sexual Health Clinics at UC.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within clinical practice.
- Complete outpatient telephone home calls in the faculty pool once per month.
- Engage in community-based participatory research on LGBTQ+ health outcomes.
- Participate in education initiatives in inclusive excellence in medical undergraduate and graduate education.
Minimum Requirements
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.).
- Completion of a three-year residency program in Family Medicine, four-year residency program in Med-Peds, or three-year residency program in Internal Medicine.
- OHIO Medical Board License.
- DEA License.
