About the role
The full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person. Texas Christian University is hiring for the position of Instructor in Finance in the Neeley School of Business. The successful candidate will begin employment in August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teach a range of finance courses at the undergraduate level.
- Evaluate financial statements, conduct capital budgeting, manage cash flow, and perform debt and equity valuations.
- Provide expertise in investment and portfolio management, including security analysis, modern portfolio theory, and risk-return concepts.
Requirements
- Hold (or expect completion by August 2026) an earned master’s degree or doctorate degree in finance or a related field.
- Show evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level.
- Show professional experience in a business-related field.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial decision-making by businesses.
- Understanding of investment and portfolio management principles.
- Experience in teaching finance courses at the undergraduate level.
