Position Overview

An Instructor at Seven Hills Pediatric Center, an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, provides specialized education and care for residents with severe special needs. The role involves collaborating with a dynamic interdisciplinary team, developing and implementing curriculum, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute individualized curriculum and weekly instruction plans.
• Supervise and evaluate teacher assistants, modeling best practices and teaching new skills.
• Cookordinate with nursing staff, social workers, and other team members to support residents' needs.
• Provide instruction in diverse settings, including classrooms, bedside, or community spaces.
• Participate in resident assessments, ISP/IEP meetings, and interdisciplinary planning.
• Manage educational materials and maintain a safe, organized learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years in a related field preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (or 200 pounds with assistance) and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Other Requirements: Standard driver’s license; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
