Instructor

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute individualized curriculum and weekly instruction plans.
• Supervise and evaluate teacher assistants, modeling best practices and teaching new skills.
• Cookordinate with nursing staff, social workers, and other team members to support residents’ needs.
• Provide instruction in diverse settings, including classrooms, bedside, or community spaces.
• Participate in resident assessments, ISP/IEP meetings, and interdisciplinary planning.
• Manage educational materials and maintain a safe, organized learning environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years in a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (or 200 pounds with assistance) and perform physical tasks as needed.

Other Requirements

• Standard driver’s license;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
