Summary Of Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, in-person instruction for the graduate Occupational Therapy program, emphasizing innovative, active learning and technology to foster student excellence.
  • Teach full-time graduate courses in assigned areas.
  • Advise current and prospective graduate students.
  • Assist the OT Program Chair with accreditation tasks.
  • Maintain professional, effective communication with students, community partners, constituents, and faculty/staff.
  • Serve as a positive team member by actively collaborating with colleagues to support program goals.
  • Contribute to curriculum development.
  • Participate in student and program assessment.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, be licensed to practice occupational therapy, and have at least one year of relevant work experience. Experience in higher education and teaching is preferred. A strong commitment to teaching, research, and service is required.
