Instructional Technology Specialist (Computer Teacher) - Probationary

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with teachers to design technology-rich, student-centered learning experiences.
• Supports the complex instructional technology systems used throughout the school.
• Utilize innovative practices to engage students and staff in the effective use of technology.
• Analyze, import, export, reconcile, and maintain data across multiple district systems.
• Manage multiple technology projects while collaborating with teachers, administrators, technical staff, and vendors.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience integrating technology into classroom instruction.
• Advanced proficiency with iPad Apps, Schoology and Google Suite.
• Experience supporting multiple instructional technology platforms and systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Hold, or be eligible for, NY Permanent/Professional Certification for Middle Level (any discipline).
• NY Educational Technology Specialist certification preferred.
