About the Role
This role provides hands-on instructional technology support to faculty and course operations for the client's online learning team, helping reduce workload on the existing team ahead of the fall semester.
Responsibilities
- Triage and dispatch incoming support tickets to the appropriate team members
- Resolve Tier 1 support requests, including troubleshooting, enrollment questions, and how-to inquiries
- Build and maintain LMS course sites, including creating and updating assignments and course content
- Create deep links to third-party learning tools within the LMS
- Support faculty and internal stakeholders remotely with a customer-service-oriented approach
- Follow established documentation processes and contribute to process improvement
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience supporting a learning management system, with Canvas LMS strongly preferred
- Experience with ticketing systems for technical support workflows
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for faculty and stakeholder support
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a higher education or online learning environment
- Familiarity with Halo or similar ticketing platforms
- Background in customer-facing or technical support roles
- Experience creating deep links to third-party content within an LMS
Pay & Benefits
- Compensation: $30-$35/hour on W2

Location: Remote (EST time zone preferred)
Start Date: Late August 2025 (target August 24th)
Duration: Contract, approximately 10 months (through June 30, 2026)
