Objective
Instructional Systems Specialists are responsible for the administration and supervision of educational or training services in formal education and training programs in support of customer and program objectives.Employment Status
Full-time (40 hours per week). Salaried. Exempt.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or instructional system design/analysis or similar technical degree.
- 5 years experience in instructional systems analysis, design, and development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, organize, and synthesize source material into well-written, concise learning products.
- Proficient with the Authoring Instructional Material (AIM) II
- Familiar with content management systems Content Planning Module (CPM), learning Management Systems (LMS), and Learning Assessment Systems (LAS).
- Experience in learning theories such as:
- Instructional System Design (ADDIE or similar)
- Andragogy-Learning strategies focused on adults
- Blooms Taxonomy-Classification of learning objectives within education
- Gagnes Nine Events of Instruction-An instructional design model put together by Robert Gagne
- Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning-Encompasses several principles of learning with multimedia
- Discovery Learning-Participant will gather data and make determinations based on case study information.
