Responsibilities

• Support teacher's direction by providing assistance with academic, social, and behavioral needs of assigned clients.
• Assist in the implementation of basic educational programming and perform duties as directed by the building administrator or classroom teacher, including individual tutoring or one‑on‑one support for students with special needs.
• Ensure the health and safety of youth in the Malvern, PA private school.
• Provide assistance with academic, social and behavioral needs.
• Support teacher and administration's direction while supporting youth and reporting progress daily.
• Support and reinforce PBIS goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; Associates Degree or completion of two years of post‑secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students with severe/complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.

Pay

Pay rate: $19.50 – $22.23 per hour (based upon experience).

Schedule

Schedule: Up to 32 hours per week with flexibility during the hours that school is in session.
