About the role

Instructional support staff provides direct assistance to teachers and students to support classroom instruction and student learning. This role may include working with individuals or small groups, supporting instructional activities, and helping maintain a productive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce materials introduced by the teacher.
• Help students master equipment or instructional materials assigned by the teacher.
• Assist with student supervision.
• Check notebooks and correct papers.
• Supervise testing and make‑up work assigned by the teacher.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
