About the role
To teach exceptional students according to individual education plans following adopted curriculum, instructional methods, monitoring systems.
Responsibilities
- Teach exceptional students according to individual education plans following adopted curriculum, instructional methods, monitoring systems.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
- Collaborate with special education teachers and other school staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Evaluate student performance regularly and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Educator Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree.
Qualifications
- Ability to work with diverse student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with exceptional learners is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning experiences.
Benefits
- $1500.00 supplement each fiscal year (Prorated based on start date).
Pay
- Minimum salary / rate: $49,500.
