Qualifications And Requirements Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices, particularly related to supporting children with exceptionalities. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with teachers, staff, students, and families from diverse backgrounds. Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with children. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and respond effectively to unexpected situations. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities as required. Certification or training in CPR, first aid, and other relevant health and safety protocols preferred. Note: Preference will be given to applicants with childcare experience, especially those who have worked with children with exceptionalities or in early childhood education programs.
