About the role

This role leads operational priorities in a mission-driven environment, focusing on safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of teaching laboratory stockrooms serving 3,500+ students per semester
  • Train and supervise laboratory personnel, including instructional technicians and student workers
  • Manage the purchase and inventory of chemicals and supplies, ensuring accuracy and budget compliance
  • Implement process improvements and ensure adherence to safety and operational policies
  • Monitor laboratory safety compliance and manage waste disposal

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or the company
  • Three years of experience in laboratory or waste management
  • One year of experience leading or supervising professional staff
  • Knowledge of laboratory operations, workflows, and best practices
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and compliance regulations

Pay

$78,400 – $82,000 annually
