Responsibilities
- Teach exceptional students according to individual education plans following adopted curriculum, instructional methods, monitoring systems.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with other special education teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of exceptional students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and certification in Exceptional Student Education.
Qualifications
- Experience working with exceptional students is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using assistive technology and accommodations.
- Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
