About the role

To teach exceptional students according to individual education plans following adopted curriculum, instructional methods, monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

  • Teach exceptional students according to individual education plans following adopted curriculum, instructional methods, monitoring systems.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of exceptional students.
  • Evaluate student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and certification in Exceptional Student Education

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Experience working with exceptional students is preferred but not required.

Skills

  • Exceptional understanding of special education laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using assistive technology and accommodations.
  • Ability to collaborate with other professionals in the educational setting.
