About the role
To teach exceptional students according to individual education plans following adopted curriculum, instructional methods, monitoring systems.
Responsibilities
- Teach exceptional students according to individual education plans following adopted curriculum, instructional methods, monitoring systems.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of exceptional students.
- Evaluate student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and certification in Exceptional Student Education
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Experience working with exceptional students is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Exceptional understanding of special education laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using assistive technology and accommodations.
- Ability to collaborate with other professionals in the educational setting.
