About the role

We’re growing our team of experienced Instructional Designers to lead curriculum and training design across educational and professional sectors. These flexible, contract-based, or part-time roles are ideal for creative professionals who thrive at the intersection of learning, design, and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop powerful learning experiences across formats, including: K–12 Curriculum Design, Corporate & Government Training, Digital Learning Modules, Job Aids & Performance Tools, Workshop & PD Design, and Client Collaboration.
  • Ground every design in frameworks like UDL, ADDIE, and Backward Design, with attention to learner motivation, accessibility, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with schools, businesses, nonprofits, and federal and state agencies to create blended and digital content that inspires learners of all ages, often asynchronously and virtually, with flexible timelines.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in instructional or curriculum design
  • Strong writing, editing, and content architecture skills
  • Familiarity with K–12 and/or adult learning theory
  • Experience with Google Suite, Canva, and LMS platforms
  • Proficiency with tools like Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar
  • Collaborative, deadline-driven, and reflective approach to project work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience in corporate, government, or nonprofit learning design (a plus)
  • Experience designing for multilingual or global learners (a plus)
  • Skills in multimedia tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, or Storyline) (a plus)

Skills
