Instructional Designer III

About the role

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking a professional-level Instructional Designer III to join Academic Technology, a unit within UFIT. UFIT enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using HiPerGator. The Instructional Designer III oversees the development and implementation of solutions for academic programs, departments, or similar units, providing oversight and leadership of learning or training programs, including establishment of program goals and future direction. The role is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of classroom and technology-based training programs, assessing training needs, serving as a liaison between subject matter experts and technical experts, and leading large projects by managing cross‑functional teams to develop new programs and courses.
