About the role
The Instructional Designer creates new educational materials and content for the Medical Strategy and Knowledge Advancement team. This role encompasses creating new training resources, collaborating with subject matter experts, assisting with in-person training, and managing the learning management system. The Instructional Designer drives efforts to equip the sales team with the knowledge and tools needed to excel in tissue regeneration. This position is located in the Kerecis office and reports to the Senior Director, Global Knowledge Advancement.
Responsibilities
- Create a variety of high-quality educational materials that facilitate effective and engaging training experiences by combining instructional design principles, educational expertise, creativity, and collaboration.
- Assist with in-person training as needed.
- Provide content creation guidance to other team members.
- Review and revise existing materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness.
- Work closely with subject matter experts.
- Gather feedback, conduct assessments, and analyze training effectiveness to continuously improve and update educational materials.
- Provide clear communication of project scope, deliverables, timing, funding, and resource requirements.
- Assist in running the Learning Management System.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, education, educational technology, design, medical, science, or other relevant fields.
- Familiarity with course authoring tools.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Experience with graphic design and multimedia.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Articulate is a plus.
