Instructional Designer

What You'll Do

• Leverage a variety of methodologies, blended learning approaches, and learning design best practices with an emphasis on real-world application relevant for adult learners in a business environment.
• Partner with members of management as an internal consultant to research, design, develop, and measure various training programs; and educate training personnel on instructional design methodologies and theories.
• Assess, analyze, and update training programs based on needs to improve performance and productivity.
• Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
• Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.).
• Maintain project documentation and course folders.
• Support ad hoc projects and assignments, as needed.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong oral and written skills.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
• In-depth knowledge of instructional design and adult learning techniques.
• Experience as lead/owner in large-scale implementation with specific behavior change.
• Experience in Articulate 360 and Storyline Training Software.
• Experience in working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design.
• Experience creating targeted content that generates measurable ROI.
• Experience in video course creation and script writing.
