Instructional Designer

About the role

The Instructional Designer supports the Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) with the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training course documents. Responsibilities include developing training project plans, course training task lists, control documents, lesson plans, student guides, and AI-assisted testing materials. The role involves creating measurable learning objectives, analyzing training tasks, and evaluating developed training.

Responsibilities

• Develop Training Project Plans (TPPs)
• Develop Course Training Task List (CTTL)
• Develop Training Course Control Document (TCCD)
• Create Lesson Plans
• Develop Student Guides
• Design AI-assisted Testing Materials
• Design instructional components
• Develop qualitative and quantitative performance measures
• Utilize a variety of training products
• Develop measurable learning objectives
• Create Course Outlines of Instruction
• Create Instructional Media Materials
• Evaluate developed training
• Provide user support and training
• Support SharePoint workflows and automation
• Ensure document security and compliance with records management policies
• Support periodic audits

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction, or Educational Technology with 1+ year of experience in training development or education
• High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of experience in training development or education
• Experience with AI-assisted tools
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience in instruction systems design process
• Security clearance up to the Secret level

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

• Experience with AI-assisted tools
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Security clearance up to the Secret level
• Experience in SharePoint site development, automation, and administration
• Proficiency in Power Automate for workflow automation
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software (Premiere, After Effects)
