Essential Functions

  • Leads meetings and partners with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs and translate complex content into effective training solutions.
  • Designs and develops instructional materials including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, microlearning modules, eLearning courses, and assessments.
  • Leverages instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE – Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, SAM – Successive Approximation Model, etc.) to deliver scalable and impactful training experiences.
  • Develops content for multiple modalities including instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), self-paced eLearning, video, and blended learning.
  • PARTNERS WITH THE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS) ADMINISTRATOR TO LAUNCH AND TRACK TRAINING DELIVERY ACROSS BUSINESS UNITS.
  • Observes pilot training delivery session to collect feedback and make corresponding updates. Observes follow up session(s) to ensure effectiveness of updates. MAKES OTHER CURRICULUM UPDATES AS NEEDED.
  • Continuously assesses training effectiveness using learner feedback, skills assessments, and operational KPIs to improve learning outcomes.
  • STAYS CURRENT WITH INDUSTRY TRENDS, LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES, AND BEST PRACTICES IN INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN AND ADULT LEARNING.

Skills/Abilities

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders, including field personnel and leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or other related software.
  • Proficient with instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).
  • Able to translate complex construction and project management topics into clear, engaging learning content.
  • Able to utilize authoring tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) to create interactive and visually appealing courses.
  • Able to learn and use LMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of graphic design, video editing, or animation tools (e.g., Canva, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.

Work Environment

Office environment. Occasional travel may be required for in-person training sessions or meetings.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
