Essential Job Functions

  • Supports course development, offers training, and maintains the quality and effectiveness of instructional strategies across various delivery formats, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses
  • Collaborates with faculty to design and develop new courses and revise existing ones, maintaining they meet university standards and learning outcomes
  • Develops and delivers faculty development in the effective application of instructional technologies and instructional design principles
  • Consults with faculty and other department staff on the identification and implementation of appropriate technology and instructional strategies to meet student learning outcomes
  • Troubleshoots and resolves matters related to instructional technologies for faculty and staff
  • Supports faculty for the learning management system, media tools, and other technologies for teaching
  • Identifies and assists in implementing innovative and effective learning techniques
  • Buils master course shells in the learning management system
  • Maintains online courses to confirm they meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Stays abreast of new technologies and strategies related to the implementation of instructional technologies and provides analysis and recommendations for improvement

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a master's degree
  • Experience working in instructional design, learning management systems, faculty support, integrating technology into teaching in an educational setting or other related experience
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in course design and instruction
  • Experience with Blackboard Ultra

Pay

$65,000/annualized
