About the role

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is remote.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.
  • Responsible for all assigned product training requirements, including but not limited to online e-learning, how-to-videos, webinar content, virtual classroom content, and face-to-face content creation, as well as maintenance, improvements, and updates as needed.
  • Assists in the needs assessment process and makes suggestions to improve design, creation, innovation, and updates of training programs or materials.
  • Collaborates with other Instructional Designers and subject matter experts in the development of train-the-trainer materials enhancing the demonstration of delivery concepts and improving the customer journey.
  • Requires ability to storyboard and develop easily accessible and understood technical solutions based on application and specific customer needs.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Instructional Design, Marketing, Business Administration, Teaching/Training, or related fields, in the United States.
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.

Skills

  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Pay

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications, graduation year, and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
