What You’ll Do
- Content Development
- Design and develop STEM learning content for the Stemble platform, including assignments, homework, assessments, rubrics, labs, and interactive learning activities.
- Collaborate with instructors to transform their course materials into engaging digital learning experiences.
- Review content for accuracy, quality, accessibility, and alignment with pedagogical best practices.
- Provide feedback on content created by teammates and contribute to continuous improvements in our content development processes.
Instructor Success
- Partner with our Sales and Operations teams to onboard new instructors and support successful course launches.
- Lead onboarding and training sessions for instructors and teaching assistants on course operation, content development, and platform best practices.
- Build strong relationships with instructors and regularly meet with them to support course delivery and ongoing development.
- Help instructors identify opportunities to improve student learning outcomes using Stemble’s tools and features.
Student & Instructor Support
- Provide timely support to students, instructors, and teaching assistants throughout the academic term.
- Develop standard responses, workflows, and resources that improve support efficiency and consistency.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles, documentation, and training materials that help users succeed on the platform.
Product & Process Improvement
- Work closely with the Product team to identify opportunities to improve the platform and user experience.
- Experiment with new workflows, tools, and AI-powered approaches that make content development and support more effective.
- Develop and share best practices that improve the quality, consistency, and efficiency of our work.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute wherever needed as the company grows.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in a STEM field such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Kinesiology, Science Education, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of introductory university-level STEM coursework.
- Experience with general and organic chemistry is particularly valuable.
- Experience creating educational materials such as assignments, assessments, rubrics, labs, tutorials, examinations, or other instructional content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a genuine interest in working directly with instructors and students.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to creating high-quality learning experiences.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and adapting to a fast-moving startup environment.
- Experience in EdTech, higher education, educational publishing, instructional design, or SaaS is considered an asset.
- French language skills are an asset.
- A growth mindset and a love of learning, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
