About the role

The Dean of Students is directly responsible to the principal, with broad responsibilities to supervise school activities and coordinate attendance policies. This instructional unit serves as a liaison between and among the principal, teachers, student body, and members of the community.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between and among the principal, teachers, student body, and members of the community.
• Supervise school activities.
• Coordinate attendance policies.
• Implement and enforce school policies regarding student behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with graduate credits in education and leadership.
• A Master's Degree is desirable.
• A minimum of three years of successful teaching.
• Demonstrated proficiency for effective student behavior modification.
• A minimum of one year experience in supervising school related activities.
