Instructional Coach - Elementary - 2026-2027 School Year

About the role

The Chino Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) seeks an experienced and dedicated Instructional Coach to support teachers in elementary schools during the 2026-2027 school year. CVUSD is known for its award-winning programs, including performing arts, athletics, and outstanding student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Supports teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies aligned with district goals.
• Facilitates professional learning communities to enhance teaching practices and student achievement.
• Assists in developing and delivering professional development workshops for teachers.
• Evaluates teacher performance and provides feedback to improve instructional effectiveness.
• Mentors new teachers and supports their growth in the classroom.

Requirements

• Valid California Multiple Subject Credential and English Learner Authorization.
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
• Five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience with K-6th grade students.
• Experience in staff development, training, and presenting.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to support curricular programs and instruction through integrated lessons and multiple instructional strategies.
• Good communication skills.

• Copy of transcript (undergraduate and graduate coursework).
• Credential copy (as detailed above).
• English Learner Authorization.
• Letter of Introduction.
• Two (2) letters of recommendation signed and dated within the last 24 months.
• Resume (updated and current).
