About the Role
Under general supervision, this entry-level technical instructional assistant position assists the teacher in a general education pre-kindergarten classroom by supporting students' learning and social skills development; assisting with classroom preparation tasks such as copying and organizing materials; and providing supervision, instruction, and behavioral support for students with disabilities or severe behaviors.
Requirements
Proof of one of the following must be uploaded with your application:
- Passing the CBEST, or
- Completion of two years of college (48 units), or
- An AA degree or higher, or
- Passing the District proficiency exam in mathematics, reading, and writing prior to the job posting closing date.

Pay
Hourly pay range: $20.07 – $25.59.
- External candidates start at Step A–C based on verified experience.
- Current regular employees on promotion are placed at the lowest step of the new range, which provides a raise of approximately 5%, within constraints of the salary schedule.
